The Electromechanical Systems Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Connecticut has a position available for a postdoctoral research fellow. The successful candidate will join a vibrant and interdisciplinary research team and be involved in a project addressing multi-physics modeling and analysis to understand the mechanisms of acoustic wave propagation and structural vibration cancellation.

The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or applied physics, a good publication record, strong communication skills, and working experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Piezoelectric sensors and actuators;
